The Bubble Size That Drives 99% TSS Removal
DAF performance is governed by one variable above all others: bubble size. DAF Corp's proprietary micro-bubble generator produces 10–30 micron bubbles — smaller than a human hair and the optimal size to attach to suspended solids, fats, oils, and emulsified contaminants.
Billions of these micro-bubbles per liter of recycle flow create a dense flotation cloud that lifts particles to the surface in seconds. Larger bubbles rise too fast and miss fine solids. Smaller bubbles lack the buoyancy to carry heavy floc. The 10–30 micron range is why DAF Corp systems consistently achieve 90–99% TSS removal across food, dairy, oil and gas, municipal, and industrial applications.
